PREVIOUS SAVE THE DERBY EVENTS

Royal Crown Revue, the band that got their start at the Derby, is on our side!  They even made a radio announcement for us when they were interviewed recently on 103.1 FM.   On Friday Nov 4, 2005 Save the Derby and RCR teamed up for great show and outreach event at the Derby to spread the word about the Town Hall Meeting.

As always the band was great!

We had posters set up showing the Derby's history and sketches of the proposed development.

We handed out flyers promoting the Town Hall Meeting, gathered petitions signatures and sold Save the Derby T-shirts.

We even had TV coverage on the CBS Channel 2 and KCAL Channel 9 Nightly News!

A big thanks to Royal Crown Revue and all the folks who came out the night ... and of course, many thanks to Jim Knell and others for taking the photos!
